MDS – Development Tools for MULTOS

MDS is the only set of tools you will need to create and debug MULTOS applications and download them to MULTOS Application Development Cards. MDS is also the only MULTOS application development system to include facilities to personalise applications and prepare them for mass issuance. The tools run on PCs under Windows™ 95, 98, ME, NT4, 2000 or XP.

MDS provides a complete set of integrated tools including:
C Compiler
MEL Assembler
MULTOS simulator and High-Level debugger
Personalisation facility
Card loader
A terminal simulator.

The MDS C compiler is source code compatible with the Aspects tool-kit but produces up to 25% less code. MDS version 3 includes powerful new features to help you develop, test, build, load and issue your MULTOS applications. These include:
Brand new Project Manager to help you manage your project settings and to simply add and remove new sources to and from your project
Optimising C Compiler which now produces significantly more compact and faster MEL code
A Terminal Simulator which can direct commands to either MDS or to an application loaded onto a test card
